This is the best brunch in South StL!!! I love everything about the establishment from the music, to of course the food, the staff(Emily is heavem sent) and the decor. This is a true example of small business. The ordering process is done through your phone from a QR code and delivered right to your table. The decor is quirky and unique and the food is fresh and delicious like eating at grandma's house. I love that the establishment is BYOB and they offer seating both indoors and outside. I recommend the pancakes, hands down the best decision you'll ever make! Again fresh food, great staff, and beautiful environment.

MJ and I went to a late breakfast at this place one Sunday. We loved it. The food was first rate. We had the pancake selection with syrup, jam and sides. I had sausage. MJ had bacon. We split breakfast potatoes. It was quite delicious. The way of ordering food is unique. You have to use your phone to order from a Q code which is left on your table. The menu pops up and you order from there. No cash is involved. You follow the instructions. Regardless, the food is delicious. The staff is nice, although interaction is limited. It was quite full while we were there. Another sign that this place is worth your time.

Employees were nice, but didn't tell me you have to order through the QR Code. Sat there way too long before I realized it. Food was good, but not worth what I paid (just my opinion). Foo

My brother and I have never been here before and while it's up on the board we thought it was for specials so I didn't really think to look. We specifically looked at the website to see what they had but nobody explained or asked us if it was our first time and it took us a half an hour to realize you had to order through the website or The QR code. Maybe if this was a lot more common in a lot of places we would have realized a lot quicker but you should really let the people know and ask if they've been there before because the table next to us didn't know either and for some reason they explained to her but not to us. The food was decent, I ordered the hot honey chicken sandwich but there wasn't as much of a flavor profile and the coleslaw on the sandwich overtook even the hot honey chicken. I don't know if my heat tolerance is just too high or if it's just lacking? The dirty potatoes we're very good and delicious crispy on the outside and soft in the middle like it should be and that was the best part of our meal unfortunately. They have good food but I don't think it's enough to bring us back. Overall our bill cost $70 after tip for the two of us and in my opinion the cost did not equate to the meal.

The food, environment, service style stands out here. This is the place to go and to send your friends. On a Sunday morning we put our names on the list for a table online, waited not all that long. Around maybe 30 min when 7 groups were ahead of our group of 4. The atmosphere is effortlessly cool. We ordered from the QR code on the table and the food and drinks were sent straight to our table. While we loved every single thing we ordered our stand out orders were- The Grits(O.M.G), the goat cheese omelette, the grits topped gumbo, and the matcha. I will return- and I will send my friends. Notable mention was the gold stars those of us who finished our food received. ⭐

The food at Grand Pied tasted great and we really enjoyed our meals. The only downside was the reservation experience: my friend called ahead for a table of 6 and was told they don’t take reservations. When we arrived, there was a table for 4 and 2 available, but we were told it was being held for someone who had just called. Online it even showed no wait. Thankfully, we were eventually seated, and a kind couple moved so our group could sit together. Overall, the food was excellent, but the seating process could definitely be more consistent.

Had to tap into my Creole side and finally tried gumbo over grits…and wow. That combo is crazy good. Already had it twice and I’m not done yet. Flavor was rich, bold, and just hit right. Put the egg on top! And the pancakes? Man, I wasn’t ready. Light, fluffy, and somehow super unique.. never had pancakes like that before. Whole meal was straight . If you’re thinking about it, stop thinking and just go.
